Call to the lost and broken-hearted

“I haven’t left the Church. The Church has left me.”

Troubled by the direction denominational churches are taking? Worried about a failure to uphold biblical teaching and to proclaim Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life? Desperate to see the power of God made manifest in our nation? You’re not alone.

‘In’ but not ‘of’ the world
– the ‘Church’ has lost its way

Striving to be relevant, it is becoming irrelevant.
Seeking influence, it forsakes the source of power.
Failing to stand for Truth, it is undone by lies.
Bowing to the surrounding culture, it makes itself a pawn
Weak and demoralised, it fails to bring hope and healing.

In these days of testing and trial. we believe God is calling His true ekklesia to arise. In response to this call, VfJUK is starting a regular online Sunday morning worship service.

Let us be clear. We are not starting a new Church, or a new denomination – and we don’t want to ‘poach’ Christians away from churches bravely holding the line. But we are calling together a Fellowship of all Christians that is 100% based on the Bible, and that models the teaching and practice of the early Church. Our aim is not to rival existing churches or denominations but, in fellowship, to affirm and support all Bible-based Christians and thereby to strengthen Christianity in our churches and society.

We are starting with a pre-recorded service online. But we hope, if we can attract enough support, to move that shortly to live streamed services where we can physically get together. And progressing from that point, we hope to link people together locally, so that they can start their own fellowship, under our guidance and with support.

Let us never forget that our God is sovereign and a God of power, and that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to save sinners.

Though we be faithless, God is faithful, and He is reclaiming His Church.
