Nero still fiddling while Rome burns?

According to latest data released by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA), one in every 32 births in the UK in 2023 was born as result of IVF treatment – which roughly translates, says the Times, as one child in every class at school.  The natural fertility rate in 2023 was apparently the lowest on record, with IVF births making up 3.1% of all births, a rise of around 2% since 2000.  This figure is forecast to rise exponentially over the coming years, as it’s anticipated that increasing numbers of people, including single women and female same-sex couples, will have fertility problems and seek artificial intervention to help them conceive.

The number of abortions for 2023 has still to be released, but official figures for England and Wales show that in 2022 there were 251,377 terminations, a 17% increase on the previous year, and the highest number yet on record.  In the same year, again for England and Wales, there were 605,479 live births, meaning that around 30% of all conceptions ended in abortion.

With the ‘success’ of pills by post and impending decriminalisation of abortion up to term, it’s forecast that for 2025 the number of abortions will rise to well over 300,000, while the birth rate continues its alarming decline.  Which means, very roughly – and bearing in mind that in 2021, in England and Wales, over half of teenage pregnancies, and 40.1 percent of pregnancies among 20 to 24-year-olds, all ended in abortion – up to 50% of conceptions might end in termination, with 98% being for what are euphemistically termed ‘social reasons’, meaning that, for whatever reason, the baby is simply unwanted.

We have then a strange irony, because it is an inconvertible fact that many of those deciding to abort their babies will subsequently be unable to conceive naturally and, in later life, will demand help to fulfil their frustrated dreams of parenthood.  But even with such intervention, given the nation’s conspicuously falling birth rate, we will be unable to achieve the replacement levels necessary to sustain our population.  All of which means, to put it bluntly, that we are effectively killing off our race.

But now there is an added ingredient to this unholy mix, because scientists are reportedly working on ground-breaking research  that will allow them to construct human DNA synthetically and create human beings from scratch, without any need for natural involvement.  In the first instance, this will reportedly be used to help develop better treatments for the management of disease, but already there is talk of creating enhanced or modified – even weaponised – humans.  Which means that we are very close now to creating designer ‘superbeings’ – not robots, but flesh and blood humanoids, no longer made in God’s image, but in our own imaginings, and therefore without a soul.  Whatever we tell ourselves, we are dangerously close to making the human race redundant, and becoming architects of our own destruction.  Which, if successful, would be a massive victory for the devil.

The Bible tells us that the devil cannot create – he can only pervert and twist what has been made by God.  By this means, his aim is to divert the worship that properly belongs to God onto himself, and to take control.  He is the destroyer and architect of death.  In the last one hundred years, at one level, his lies have appeared quite spectacularly successful.  In the West, beguiled by science, men and women have increasingly rejected God in favour of ‘Self’.  We don’t need that fairy in the sky any more, we say.  We’re in control, we can have it all.  In our endeavours to re-create creation, we have assaulted the very gates of heaven.

But our rejection of God does not mean that He has ceased to exist, or that He has changed and somehow become all ‘cuddly’ and permissive, like an over-indulgent parent who lets the children run wild.  Everything is not ‘good’ simply because it exists, and we do not have simply to accept and tolerate evil, because to do otherwise would violate the personal autonomy and choices of A. N. Other.  The reality is that we are caught in a battle and it is as true today, as it was at the dawn of creation, that evil and goodness cannot co-exist.  A little bit of evil is never okay.

Over the last century, as a society, we have increasingly endorsed immorality, sin and death – but this has not brought freedom.   On the contrary, it has served only to place us under judgement.  The truth is, we are fighting for the survival of the human race and only God now can save us.  But while we continue our slavering adulation of evil, He will not intervene – and we, along with those of our children who have succeeded in being born, will be lost.  Forever.

Warning – beware the environmental dangers of chemical abortion

New research from the US reveals growing alarm at the unprecedented level of abortion pill chemicals and human remains now entering the general water supply, which existing water purification measures cannot treat. 

Every day, literally tons of hazardous waste, including the abortion drug Mifepristone and human foetal remains, are being flushed into the water system, causing incalculable damage both to the environment and to public health.   By such unregulated discharge, we are creating a biohazard crisis, which could potentially put at risk human fertility and endanger the general health of all.

Please sign our petition to the Department of Health and Social Care calling for urgent investigation into the unprecedented level of abortion pill chemicals and human remains currently entering our water supply.  Demand that there be full investigation of the impact on the environment of abortion pill metabolites and related by-products (i.e. human remains) entering our water systems, and the possible effects this will have on human health and fertility.

Stop unrestricted and dangerous discharge of the abortion drug Mifepristone into the nation’s water supply.

The Assisted Dying Bill

Having been approved by the House of Commons, the Assisted Dying Bill now passes for scrutiny to the House of Lords, where it is scheduled for second reading on Friday, 12th September.  There is all to play for.  Over the coming weeks, VfJUK will be asking supporters to contact selected peers, asking them not to support this pernicious Bill.  Full guidance will be published shortly.
